Brushgrove comprises 3,014 hectares (7,448.5 acres) located in the well known New England region of northern New South Wales, approximately 23km west of Uralla, 46km south west of Armidale, 112 km north east of Tamworth, 233km west of Coffs Harbour, 475km North of Sydney and 507km south of Brisbane.
The holding was purchased by the current owners in about 2002 and has been run as a livestock enterprise with initially sheep, and in more recent time’s cattle.
It has a complete range of working and living improvements including the spacious homestead, additional staff accommodation, cattle yards, sheep yards, wool shed and additional working shedding.
The property is a mixture of open to lightly timbered grazing country with some heavier timbered areas, ideal for shelter during lambing or calving.
It is estimated that Brushgrove would carry approximately 800 plus breeding cows.
