* The vineyard *
There are 5 acres of Shiraz grapes, established in 1996 and 1997, growing on the rich volcanic soils – and producing premium quality fruit. A small area was also planted in 2002.

The vineyard produces about 700 cases per annum with the wine processed over the years by the nearby winemakers at either Margan and/or Pools Rock wineries.

The vines are professionally managed with agronomy advice provided by Neil Grosser.

They are all irrigated – via three lines on the original vineyard, one on both the second vineyard and a further one on the 2002 vines. There are six switch valves, with 2 litre droppers in the pipeline.
